IAN CURTIS
15th July 1956 - 18th May 1980
It was to 30 years that the world lost a great star on the music world, Ian Curtis.
He decided to lieve this world, Ian Curtis hanged himself in the kitchen of his home in Macclesfield, England.
He left with 23 yaras old.
And so was the end of his band Joy Division.
Some of his references ranging from J.G. Ballard to Nietzsche, William Burroughs to Franz Kafka.
In music were Jim Morrison to Iggy Pop, Lou Reed to MC5.
There´s some movies and documentaries about Ian and Joy Division, 24 Hour Party People (Michael Winterbottom, 2002), Control (Anton Corbijin, 2007) and Joy Division-The Documentary (Grant Jee,2007)

Today is the birthday of Sir Bono, so Happy Birthday to him !!
He celebrates 50 years.
He was born in Dublin, Ireland in 10th May 1960 on the name Paul David Hewson.
It was in in the Mount Temple Comprehensive Scholl that he meet the others members of his future band who in 1976 formed the U2.
Besides lead singer Bono is author of much of the lirics of the songs.
